Dear Parents and Families,
“I will praise your name for you have done wonderful things.”

Wonderful things have been happening
with our students as we share and learn about the love of Jesus during our
“Growing in Grace Chapel Time.”
One day we enjoyed a “Big Picnic” of bread and
fish, just like Jesus did in the Bible story Feeding the Five thousand. The children had to share their basket of food
with a friend just like the little boy in our story shared his lunch.
We spent time studying and learning
about the many miracles Jesus performed while he was here.
During Lent and Easter we opened the
Resurrection Eggs and retold the story of Jesus death and resurrection. We
waved our palm branches and sang "Hosanna to our King". We discussed how Jesus
continued to appear and visit his followers after his resurrection our students
knew Jesus was alive.
As we finish our study of the Life of
Jesus, we have learned along with the
disciples that Jesus is going to return to Heaven, and we remembered His words: “I
am with you always”. Matthew 28:20
Our students have been learning to
let Jesus into their lives and be the King of their hearts.
