GROWING IN GRACE
OCTOBER 2020
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23
This month our fruit of the Spirit has been JOY
Our Bible stories included the story of
The Visitors, Jairus's Daughter, and
The Pumpkin Parable.
You can check out the monthly calendar for the Bible stories I will be using for the upcoming month on the Joyful Noise web page. The children’s weekly chapel visits include; stories, songs, music and an occasional craft to help reinforce the story idea.
As part of the seasons changing and the onset of fall; some special activities and stories are planned for the month October & November
The following photo's are from all the different classes
who had Growing in Grace chapel time in the last couple weeks.
The Nursery children liked the story of the Visitors about
Sarah and Abraham having a baby. Sarah was "Joyful"
and thankful for finally having a son.

We played a Fruit of the Spirit matching game.

Adien was sing along holding up the Octopus in the "Butterfly Song"
The Toddlers were good listeners for our Growing in Grace story; and
they liked the animals that went with the Butterfly song too.
This last week in October our Growing in Grace story was
The Pumpkin Patch Parable by Liz Curtis
This story illustrates how a farmer can turn a simple
pumpkin into a wonderful sight. In the same way
God transforms us with great love and fills our hearts
joy to share with others as we let our light shine.

The Pumpkin Prayer 🙏
Lord, open my mind and fill me with your wisdom and guidance.
Lord, take out all my fussies and frownies and fill me with your love.
Lord, open my eyes to see all the beautiful things you have made.
Lord, help me be a sweet fragrance for you.
Lord, help me to always speak your words of love and kindness.
Amen
