GROWING IN GRACE

Jesus has return to heaven. His disciples and followers are gather together. Suddenly there was the sound of rushing wind and what appears to be tongues of fire alight on the disciples.

                The disciples received the Holy Spirit like tongues of fire upon them.

The Three's class finished off the week 

filled with the Spirit of the Lord!

 As we head into the summer months our older classrooms spend more time with outdoor activities and walks to the park. So we will be taking 

a bit of a break from our regular Growing in Grace schedule.              

 I will keep you posted whenever I 

add any new information or pictures from chapel time.

GROWING IN GRACE 

MAY 2021

This week at Chapel Time our story focus on Jesus's return to Heaven. Jesus had been with his disciples and followers for forty days after his resurrection on Easter morning. Now the time had come for him to return to his heavenly home. All the children liked adding the clouds to help tell the story.  Take a look:

               Ellie, Georgie, and Brynlee loved helping to put the story figures on the flannel board.

THE FOUR'S CLASS

The Four's students were eager to help add some clouds to the story board.

TODDLER CLASS

The Toddlers are singing "Jesus Loves the Little Ones Like Me" 

                                     

It's Story Time for the Toddler Class, they were great listeners and story helpers.

                             

                        Elouise is adding some clouds to the story board.                           

                         

                         Avery, Alayna, and Sawyer added more clouds too.                       

Logan, Bennett, Anna & Scarlett help finish off our story board with their additions.

TWO'S CLASS

Then it was time for the Two's class to have GIG

take a look at their time.

We need to find just the right spot for these clouds

Lucas, Ethan Z., Rowan, and Wells all place their cloud -"Just Right"

Ethan W.,  Sophie,  Georgia  and Matai carefully look for the right spot .

He was taken up to heaven and he sat the right hand of God. Mark 16:19

While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Luke 24:51

He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. Acts 1:9

Now we are waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit, but that's another story!
