DECEMBER 2016

Good Day Families,
Just a quick update on what's happening in Growing in Grace this month. We are of course learning about the birth of Jesus and spending our time with Christmas stories, finger plays, and songs. Also an important part of the season is when we practice for our combined annual Christmas Chapel which includes our students in the Nursery through the Four year old class. This year along with the story of the baby in the manger we are using the symbols and signs of Christmas to tell the story of Jesus's birth. 

I'm thankful for another wonderful year of sharing Jesus with our students at Joyful Noise. It has been a joy spending time with all the students at our facility.
May the true peace and joy of the season fall upon all our families during this busy Holiday time.

The Helmet of Salvation

These past few weeks we have been adding to our Armor of the Lord. Each week the children are eager to know what piece of armor they will be getting. On to our Helmets of Salvation the two's and three's enjoyed decorating their helmets. Now they are ready to join the Lords Army!

The Armor of God

We continued through the month October with stories that are linked with the Armor of the Lord.

These past few weeks we added our shield of faith, the belt of truth and the chest plate of righteousness. Look and see...

"The Lord is my strength and my shield in him my heart trust;..."
Psalm 28:7
