GROWING IN GRACE

    We are finishing our school year for Growing in Grace. As summer approaches our classrooms become involved in many additional activities. 

So, after the last week of June our regular sessions of GIG will end. We will resume in September after our students have made their transitions to their new classrooms for the upcoming year. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time sharing the love of Jesus with all of our classes. Thanks for your continual support for this ministry.

Our lessons in May included having breakfast with Jesus, the First Church, and making a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!

             Some of our June Bible Stories included 

The Tower of Babel, and a Talking Donkey                 

We built towers up to the sky! 

     

The tower is taller than our whole class 😲

We made our own towers with stampers

After the Bible story about the talking donkey, 

 the children made donkey puppets

Suddenly we had many talking donkeys !!!

Riding the donkey like Jesus did in our story, 

and waving the palm branches too.

"A Special Easter Basket"

The Green egg or grass reminds us of the palm 💚branches the children waved.

The purple flower reminds us of the bread and wine💜 Jesus shared with his disciples.

The red egg reminds us of Jesus blood💝 shed on the cross.

The brown bunny reminds us of tomb/cave ❤ where they laid Jesus body.

The yellow chick reminds us of the bright and glorious 💛resurrection of Jesus on Easter day.

Our "Nesting Egg" told the Easter story too. 

 

Jesus is Alive! 

He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed
