Fruit of the Spirit May

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
MAY 2021

We are on the final Fruit of the Spirit which is self-control.
God gave us the ten commandments, so we could learn about self-control.

Take a look at our story of Moses and those Ten Commandments.

April 2021 Gentleness

We finish off the month of April with a wonderful book titled:
If Jesus came to Visit Me  by Jill Roman Lord.
It was a great story showing the Gentleness of Jesus.
Then we really changed things up with a Praise and Worship band and parade!
Everyone always loves when we get the instruments out to play along with our Growing in Grace music.

Please stop by any time for a little Growing in Grace.
Peace and Blessing for your weekend,
Ms. Bev🙏

Gardening

GROWING IN GRACE

Spring 2021

As we start to enjoy warmer temperatures, our thoughts often turn to gardening.  The Bible teaches us there is a time for every season. A time to plant and a time for harvest. So you may be thinking about starting to do a little gardening.

I'd like to offer a few "seeds" for planting

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING:

 PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEACE:

1.Peace of mind  2.Peace of heart  3.Peace of soul

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:

 1.Squash gossip    2.Squash indifference

3.Squash grumbling 4.Squash selfishness

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:

1.Lettuce be faithful   2.Letttuce be kind  3.Lettuce be patient 4.Lettuce really love one another

 NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:

1.Turnip for meetings  2.Turnip for service  3. Turnip to help one another

FINALLY  WE MUST HAVE THYME IN OUR GARDEN

1.Thyme for each other    2.Thyme for family   3.Thyme for friends

May your garden bloom this spring!

The month of April has been a busy and has had some unexpected twists. Much like our first Bible story after Easter when two of Jesus's followers discover he is alive! Not what they had expected but Good News to share for sure. Then in another story  Jesus reveals himself to his disciples in "Fish for Breakfast."

On the road to Emmaus

These friends are coloring their pictures about the Road to Emmaus story.

FISH FOR BREAKFAST

We all like fish too!

The Three's friends are taking a closer look at our story figures
they liked the boat and fish.

I hope everyone has a safe and healthy weekend and we look forward to next week when we can come together again and hear the stories about Jesus.
Happy Gardening,
Ms. Bev🙏
