My eyes have seen your salvation, which is for all people...

This Bible story was about Simeon and Anna who saw baby Jesus  at  the temple.

We made eyeglasses to help remember the story.

The Nursery and Toddlers listen to the story of Jesus in the Temple

Jesus grew in grace and knowledge  

The  2's 3's & 4's classes made GIG streamers we used these

to help retell the story of when Jesus was a boy in the temple. 

Jesus grew and grew and loved the whole wide world

But Grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ 

One of our stories this month was about Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist.

The heavens open and the Spirit of God came down in the form of a dove.

        

                                             

The Spirit of God came down from heaven in the form of a dove.

"I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him." 

John 1:32

January was a busy month and our classes enjoyed some 

wonderful Bible stories and we are daily growing in the grace and knowledge 

of  Jesus Christ.

We are ready to head into February with more stories

 and lessons about Jesus.

January Following the Star

GROWING IN GRACE

JANUARY 2021

Happy New Year !

          We have had a great start to the New Year as we celebrated "Epiphany"                   "God revealed to man" along with the visit from the Wise men who followed the star.

                                          Three Wise men followed a star, they followed the star to Bethlehem                                                                 they fell on their knees and worship him! Never before has                               has there ever been a child like him, said three wise men.

 

                 

                          These children were acting out our story of the visit of the Wise men  

          They brought their gifts;  to baby Jesus.

   

                     

God put a special star in the sky to lead the wise men to where Jesus was.
