GROWING IN GRACE 

JANUARY 2018

Hello friends & families,
This week we began with the Bible story "Blessings for the Baby." The best place to start with any baby story is in the Nursery and Toddler classrooms. On Monday and Tuesday the little ones enjoyed our Bible story, as well as "Luca" the kola bear, and moving to the music. Here they are:

Here are the boys from the Two's class making their lanterns to let their light shine

                     

The sunshine was shining in the windows as we were letting our lights shine for Jesus.

The Three's class made Beautiful Lanterns!

  On Friday the 4's class sang and made lanterns too. They were eager to decorate their lanterns some with pictures of Jesus in the manger. Check their handy work.

HAPPY NEW YEAR  

Dear Parents & Families

It's so great to be back into our regular Growing in Grace schedule and starting a new year also.  Our upcoming Bible stories for this month will be about Jesus growing up and starting his ministry. This first week back we celebrated Epiphany and the visit from  the Wise men.  The children, helped tell the story of the Kings, and brought their gifts to Jesus. Take a look at our Wise Kings as they followed the Star to Bethlehem. 

Three Wise men followed a Star.  They followed the Star to Bethlehem.

They fell on their knees and worshiped Him.

 Never before has there ever been a child like Him, said  three Wise men!
