Armor of the Lord 2018

Last  week was about the Shield of Faith as we heard about Paul & Silas and how God protected them even when they were put into jail for preaching about Jesus. God was watching over them just as he watches over us everyday.

The two's class work very hard to decorate their Shield of Faith. Looking super!

The Nursery & Toddler classes  enjoyed listening to the story "God is Watching Over You" 

and singing with the stuffed animals.

             Below the Three's class used stamps & stickers to decorate their shields.

The Lord is our strength  and shield. He is always taking care of us!

October 2018

We have kicked off our year with good new shoes. Our  students are ready to follow Jesus and share the Good News of his love and salvation. We will continue into the upcoming weeks with the Belt of Truth and the Shield Faith. Keep a look out for pieces of armor to come home with your child after their visit to Growing in Grace .
Your never too young to be a follower of Jesus. Take a peek at our infant class as they heard the story and songs during Growing in Grace last week.

                           

All our students enjoyed our stories and songs and decided to put on their Good News shoes and share the love of Jesus.

 

"Put on your shoes so that you are ready to spread the Good News that gives peace."

Ephesians 6:15

The three's & four's classes were great followers too, and were eager to share the Good News of God's love.

                                    

Elijah shows who the True God is and we put on our "Belt's of Truth"

 

 

   

   

              So then take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt.

GROWING IN GRACE 2018

Grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Dear Parents & Families,                           September 2018 

Welcome back to a new year of chapel time.

If you are new to the Joyful Noise family we are glad to have you and your child share in the joy of learning about the love of Jesus in our program, known as  "Growing in Grace"                     
Each week our students spend time singing, praising, worshiping and listening to stories from the Bible. 

On the "GIG" blog you will see photos at the end of each week showing the Bible story, and the children who  participate in our chapel activities . 

The theme for the fall will be The Armor of the Lord based on Ephesians 6:10-17. We will begin our new year starting Monday October 1st.
Our stories will include Elijah & the True God. We will put on our belts of “Truth.”  We will learn to follow Jesus and put on the shoes of the Good News of the Gospel.

As we go through the month of October we will arm
ourselves like Paul & Silas with our “Shields of Faith,” and the Helmets of Salvation. 

It will be an exciting start to a new season of chapel. Keep an eye out for the upcoming news from Growing In Grace.
