MARCH  2017

 
This month in Chapel we are learning about the Miricles of Jesus. We've seen how a blind man was able to see again after Jesus put mud on his eyes.

The Wedding at Cana-Water into Wine  

March 13-17

Jesus's true power & glory were revealed when he turned water into wine at the wedding party in Cana. An "Ephiphany" for Jesus's followers and for us too!                                                         

We enjoyed a sip of grape flavored water

                       


                 

The little ones in the nursery know God is always with them. They enjoyed a special story book  and music.

       
                                                                

     

A Big Picnic-Feeding the Five Thousand

March 20-21

This week in chapel it's all about sharing-Like the little boy who shared his lunch. We are having a sharing picnic too! Five loaves and two fishes. Check it out!

           

            

Kameron enjoyed listening to our story and the music

What a great month of learning  about the Miricles of Jesus. All the classes enjoyed the special picnic treats and baskets of fish and bread when we read the story of Jesus feeding 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and two little fish.

This month in Growing in Grace we have been sharing the gift of God's love for us and others. Our stories for February included; The Good Samaritan, The Sermon on the Mount, Faith like a mustard seed, and having a Heart for Jesus. Below are pictures of our students making their hearts for our poster for the month.

 

 

The children also enjoyed the story Jesus told about growing our faith from a tiny seed and spreading God's kingdom through love and kindness to others.

Hello families,

Happy New year! I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas break, holiday celebrations, and family time with loved ones.

We finished the month of December with a wonderful combined chapel our students did a great job of singing and celebrating the birth of Jesus I hope you took a look at the pictures on the blog and JN website.

Thank you for the wonderful support and encouragement for our Growing In Grace program throughout the past year. It is a blessing to be able to share the love of Jesus with our students and staff.

We have returned to our regular scheduled chapel times and all those enthusiastic children. As we look to the start of the new year, I wish all our Joyful Noise families peace, joy, hope, and faithfulness every day of the year This month our stories wil include; Blessings for the baby, Jesus as a boy, and his baptism by John the Baptist. Take a look below at our pictures from this month.

This little light of mine I'm going to let it shine. These photos show the 3's class with there laterns shining for Jesus.

DECEMBER 2016

Good Day Families,
Just a quick update on what's happening in Growing in Grace this month. We are of course learning about the birth of Jesus and spending our time with Christmas stories, finger plays, and songs. Also an important part of the season is when we practice for our combined annual Christmas Chapel which includes our students in the Nursery through the Four year old class. This year along with the story of the baby in the manger we are using the symbols and signs of Christmas to tell the story of Jesus's birth. 

I'm thankful for another wonderful year of sharing Jesus with our students at Joyful Noise. It has been a joy spending time with all the students at our facility.
May the true peace and joy of the season fall upon all our families during this busy Holiday time.
