October 2015 Newsletter

Dear Joyful Noise Families,
It’s been a great beginning
for our students here for Growing in Grace. The children are very eager and
enthusiastic. Their interest and participation in our Bible story activities is
a testimony to the blessings of our program.
This year in Growing in Grace
the focus is on the Fruits of the Spirit based on the text from Galatians 5:22 “But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
Each month a new fruit of the
Spirit will be introduced along with a weekly Bible story to correspond and
help explain the monthly theme.
Please check out the monthly
calendar for the Bible stories I will be using for the upcoming month. The
children’s weekly chapel visits include; stories, songs, music and an
occasional craft to help reinforce the story idea.
As part of the seasons changing
and the onset of fall; some special activities and stories are planned for the
month October.
Our new year is off to a
great start and I look forward to the upcoming time ahead.
Peace & Joy always,
Ms. Bev

May 2015 Newsletter
Dear Joyful Noise
Families,
May 2015
Well, we made it all the
way through the “Alphabet” with our Bible stories from Adam to Zacchaeus and
everything in between!
We will complete the month of May with reviews of our
favorite stories and finish the month with a lesson on prayer.
Looking ahead as warmer
weather approaches many more outdoor activities and field trips are being
planned by our teachers. The three and four year old classes will meet only
occasionally for Growing in Grace throughout the summer months as their
schedules permit. Our nursery students, toddlers and the two’s class will
continue to meet weekly as their schedules allow.
We have had a wonderful
year and I’m grateful for the privilege to have been able to share God’s Word with
our students at Joyful Noise. To witness their eagerness and excitement when
learning about Jesus and helping them grow in their faith is a real blessing
for me.
Peace be with you all,
Ms. Bev

April 2015 Newsletter
Dear Joyful Noise Families,
In Growing in Grace this month we are completing some stories
we were unable to get too in March due to scheduling conflicts and spring
break.
We will continue with the final few letters of the alphabet along with doing
some special Easter Bible stories and activities.
Easter points us to new beginnings and as we continue through
the remaining weeks, our Bible stories will focus on Jesus' return to heaven,
his church on earth and our lives in service to others.
Our students have shown an eagerness, interest, and excitement
in the Bible stories they hear in Chapel each week. They continue to respond
and participate with great enthusiasm!
It is such a genuine pleasure to be able to share God’s Word with them
through stories, songs and craft activities.
Spring is in the air
and April showers will be bringing May flowers.
Our world is opening also to the
wonder of new life and new beginnings.
In these ever busy times that we find ourselves; take time to smell the
flowers!
He
is risen. He is risen indeed!
Shalom,
Ms. Bev
“Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.”

March 2015 Newsletter
Dear Joyful Noise Families, March 2015
It’s hard to believe how quickly the months are flying by. Even though we may be experiencing some chilly temps we keep looking to the coming of Spring and all the excitement of new beginnings.
In our Growing in Grace chapel times we are rapidly heading toward the last letters of the Alphabet. The children love recalling the letters and stories from the previous weeks.
We “Rejoiced” in the Lord this past week for letter “R”. We use bells to ring and sing with. Even our little friends in the Nursery class eagerly raise their bells in praise!
Our letter themes and stories for the month of March include: S- Samson, T-Teacher’s choice, U- Understanding, V- A Voice in the Night, and W- Walking on Water.
In closing I wish you well with a few “Irish Blessings.”
May you have: A world of wishes at your command, God and his angels close at hand, friends and family their love to impart, and Irish blessings deep in your
heart!
May your blessings outnumber the Shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Ms. Bev

February 2015 Newsletter

Dear Joyful Noise Families, February
2015
I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to share the Bible
with our students here at Joyful Noise. They are so eager and receptive when we
gather for Growing in Grace chapel time.
Our students have been learning about showing kindness and
being kind friends. They have shown they all have a heart for Jesus. Racing
baby Moses down the Nile was a fun activity for letter M and putting
the animals on Noah’s Ark for letter N.
For the month of February our Alphabet letters will be O, P, Q, & R. Our
story topics will be Jonah, Popcorn Prayers, and the Spirit of the Lord. Of
course, with it being February we will be talking about Valentine’s Day and sharing the
love of Jesus with others.
Ms. Bev
