The Advent Season is Upon Us!

Season’s Greetings!
Advent is upon us and
during chapel time this month we are looking forward to celebrating the birth
of our Savior Jesus Christ.
This first week we’ve learned of the Good News to Mary. She
was going to be the mother of the promised Messiah. We talked of promises and
what they mean when given. God promised to send a Savior who is Christ the King
and he always keeps his promises!
Next week we will be finding out the “rest” of the story. The
children are eager to hear more about Mary & Joseph’s trip to Bethlehem.
Also we have been learning some new songs and finger plays to celebrate the
season. The children love to sing and move to the music used in chapel time. It
is such a pleasure to see them engaged in such joyful praise and worship to our
Lord and Savior.
Happy Holidays,
Ms. Bev
“She will bear a son,
and you shall call his name Jesus for he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21

Our Growing in Grace students also enjoyed the month of November, talking about thankfulness, and crafting this cute wreath that you can see on your way downstairs to the rec room!
You will see a little more information coming home about a recent publication we have enjoyed called "Thriving Family" as well! It is a magazine with lots of great articles, ideas and practical solutions for raising caring, sensitive and faithful kids. Full of family activities and ideas for faith building, you can find the website here:
Check it out! =)
